Construction improvements funded by the 2018 bond are well underway at Stephens. The bond promises some level of improvement at all schools in the district. Approximately $11 million is being invested in expansions and improvements at Stephens.

Work started in June of 2021 and has made good progress. The classroom addition to the west of the existing building will hold four general education classrooms and four new modern science classrooms. The cafeteria expansion made major progress over the summer, and upgrades to the library-media center are complete.

Construction will continue through the school year and is on track to be complete in the fall of 2022. Construction can be inconvenient, but the results will be worth the temporary discomfort. Thank you to our staff, students and parents for being supportive and understanding during construction!
